Departments, Divisions and Services

Alderney City Police Department

The Alderney City Police Department, based out of upper Alderney, is responsible for the safety and security of Alderney cities population.
Alderney Police offers four different departments (currently) to it's officers. The divisions are as follows :

Traffic Division. This unit is specifically assigned to traffic infractions, as seen in the Alderney Laws and Regulations. They are assigned a motorcycle and watch the hectic streets of Alderney city. The traffic division is applicable one (1) week after completion of the Alderney City Police Department Training Academy and at least two (2) official patrols experienced.

Aviation Division. This unit is built around air tactics. This unit is deployed specifically for pursuits, certain SWAT situations, and almost any situation where an aerial point of view is necessary. The aviation division is applicable two (2) weeks after completing the Alderney Police Department Training Academy.

SWAT Division. This division is built around Tactical planning, response and execution. Being a part of the APD SWAT team requires two (2) months of active APD Patrol Division experience, as well as being able to qualify in over four (4) different courses.

Patrol Division.The patrol division is the base division that every officer will begin at. In patrol, you will be responding to callouts recieved through dispatch, stopping vehicles in regards to traffic infractions, assisting other officers in day to day tasks, maintaning your patrol vehicle (keeping it clean, ensuring toughbook is intact and working (MDC), oil changes, inspections, etc), maintaning your uniform (changing to proper uniform every patrol), reporting to supervisors before and after all patrols, filling out any required reports / forms during active duty. *Please keep in mind that some of this is for roleplaying purposes, so if you take roleplaying lightly, this may not be the community for you.* The patrol division is required to be recommended for any other division. You must be in this division for at least one (1) week, beginning after Academy graduation, and be able to qualify for the division you wish to transfer to.




Alderney Sheriff's Office

The Alderney Sheriff's office, based out of lower Alderney, is responsible for keeping the peace in the county of Alderney.
Alderney Sheriff's office offers three different departments (currently) to it's deputies. The divisions are as follows :

Traffic Division.This unit is specifically assigned to traffic infractions, as seen in the Alderney Laws and Regulations. They are assigned a motorcycle and are assigned to the county of Alderney. The traffic division is applicable one (1) week after completion of the Alderney Sheriff's Office Training Academy and at least two (2) official patrols experienced.

SWAT Division.This division is built around Tactical planning, response and execution. Being a part of the ASO SWAT team requires two (2) months of active ASO Patrol Division experience, as well as being able to qualify in over four (4) different courses.

Patrol Division. The patrol division is the base division that every deputy will begin at. In patrol, you will be responding to callouts recieved through dispatch, stopping vehicles in regards to traffic infractions, assisting other deputies in day to day tasks, maintaning your patrol vehicle (keeping it clean, ensuring toughbook is intact and working (MDC), oil changes (every 6 patrols), inspections, etc), maintaning your uniform (changing to proper uniform every patrol), reporting to supervisors before and after all patrols, filling out any required reports / forms during active duty. Please keep in mind that some of this is for roleplaying purposes, so if you take roleplaying lightly, this may not be the community for you. The patrol division is required to be recommended for any other division. Alderney State Police Department

The Alderney State Police Department, based in central Alderney, is in charge of overseeing all department operations. We are also responsible for the vehicular safety of the citizens of Alderney State.
The Alderney State Police Department currently offers two divisions to the Alderney Troopers. They are as follows :

Patrol / Traffic Division.The patrol division is the base division of the Alderney State Police. It includes, but is not limited to; Assisting other officers in the general area, whether they be a fellow trooper, city officer, or sheriff deputy. Stopping vehicles that break a law or regulation noted within the ADPS laws and regulations handbook, responding to state level calls (anything on the border, or in the shared zones of the city police, or sheriffs office), reporting to supervisors before and after all patrols, filling out any required reports / forms during active duty, responsible for traffic accidents and other investigation related incidents. Troopers are also responsible for personal and vehicular upkeep such as: maintaning their patrol vehicle (keeping it clean (car washes), ensuring toughbook is intact and working (MDC), oil changes (every 6 patrols), inspections (every patrol), emergency and vehicle lights and sirens are working properly, etc.), maintaning their uniform (changing to proper uniform every patrol)

SWAT Division. This division is built around Tactical planning, response and execution. Being a part of the ASP SWAT team requires two (4) months of active Patrol Division experience (any patrol division), as well as being able to qualify in over four (4) different courses. SWAT training from other departments carries over into the Alderney State Police.
